WRU Independent Review has been published

The Welsh Rugby Union (WRU) Independent Review which investigated allegations of sexism, misogyny, homophobia and racism and examined the organisational culture and behaviours of leadership at all levels at the WRU has been published by the Independent Review Panel.

The independent review panel was chaired by Sport Resolutions (SR) panel member and former Court of Appeal Judge Dame Anne Rafferty DBE PC. She was joined by former international rugby union player Maggie Alphonsi MBE and SR panel member and mediator Quentin Smith. Public lawyer David Lawson of Serjeant’s Inn acted as Counsel to the Inquiry. The Independent Review  Panel was assisted by two further members of the SR panel with experience taking evidence, Mike Nally and Steve Pearce.
