Teaching Awareness of Ethical Governance in Sport (TAGS) – An Erasmus+ EU funded project

Seminar Outcomes

The seminar will be interactive with ample opportunity throughout to ask questions and for discussion.

Dr Emily Ryall and Jonathan Cooper from the University of Gloucestershire, along with Richard Harry from Sport Resolutions will outline the TAGS project and provide an overview of the key materials created.

This will include the results of two surveys on the importance and current landscape of teaching issues of ethical governance in sport in Higher Education institutions: the creation of an original resource of key case studies from Sport Resolutions, and a suite of teaching materials provided free to access and use on the project website.

This is an invite-only event. Please email us at resolve@sportresolutions.co.uk if you wish to join us on the day.

*Funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.

Johnathan CooperSeminar Host

Jonathan Cooper, was always keen on arguing when he was young and decided to put this to good use by becoming a lawyer. He qualified as a solicitor in property and property litigation in 2007 at Walker Morris Solicitors in Leeds. Having been fascinated by how the law ‘works’, the study of law and enjoying helping others to understand complex issues, he leapt on an opportunity to become a lecturer at Leeds Metropolitan University and has not looked back since. His areas of interest are primarily property law and environmental law.
